His name means “one who is well-loved” and he certainly was. He grew into a kind, caring, energetic and passionate boy who loved his family: his mom, dad, older brother and two younger brothers. He loved wrestling, playing with his dog, skating, bicycling, participating in any winter activity outside and working alongside his dad and mom on their farm gathering eggs, caring for the animals and helping in the garden. He had an inquisitive mind and loved asking questions about the world. He loved his family, friends and Jesus. Leif was diagnosed with DIPG on October 28, 2013. He was 5 years old. He gave a very brave fight by passed away on July 27, 2014. We love you forever, little Leifer.
