Jordana Fiorini is our eternal rainbow.  Our middle child between two boys, and only daughter of Luciano and Alison Fiorini.  Jordana entered this world on October 1 , 2005 and immediately captivated people with her glimmering, soulful eyes.  Jordana has an older brother by one year, Lucas and a little brother by four years, Laurence.

Jordana received her angel wings on January 22, 2016; she was only 10 years old.  After experiencing some severe headaches and partial facial paralysis Jordana was diagnosed with DIPG at SickKids in September 2015. DIPG, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), is an inoperable brain tumour that affects children in the early years of their life and has a survival rate of six to nine months.  Jordana survived DIPG for only four months….yet while her life was tragically cut short on earth, her divine presence was soon realized through Jordana’s Rainbows.

Our family and supporters of Jordana’s Rainbows marvel at the memories she left behind – the photos, the videos and especially her artwork.  In some corner of Jordana’s artwork you will find a hand drawn rainbow, or perhaps in her signature line, you will find each letter of her name written out in a different colour.  Always finding a way to include a rainbow in anything with her name on it. In her cherished book of favorite quotes, Jordi selected one to be be used in a “All-About-Me” project,  which was completed days before her diagnosis. The quote read: “The greater the storm, the brighter the rainbow”. A foreshadowing perhaps of what was to come and how she would be the biggest rainbow in our lives after the worst possible human storm.

Jordi – We love you rainbow girl, keep shining your light and we will keep spreading it.
